1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember your session and preferences, and help us understand how the site is used.

2. Categories we use

• Strictly necessary. Session, authentication and security tokens, including protection against cross-site request forgery. The site cannot work without these and they cannot be switched off.
• Preferences. Language and interface choices, so you do not have to set them on every visit.
• Analytics. Aggregated measurement of pages viewed and traffic sources, used to improve the site. Set only with your consent.
• Marketing. Used to measure campaign performance. Set only with your consent, and never used to build profiles from data stored inside customer projects.

3. Controlling cookies

You can accept or reject non-essential cookies from the banner shown on your first visit, and change your choice at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though strictly necessary cookies must remain enabled for the site to function.

4. Third parties

Where analytics or marketing cookies are enabled, they may be set by our providers under contract. Those providers are not permitted to use the data for their own purposes.

5. Retention

Session cookies are deleted when you close the browser. Persistent cookies last no longer than 13 months from the date they are set or last refreshed.
